A family home designed by award winning Studio John Irving, located on the edge of a park in central Auckland.
The home has extensive covered verandahs allowing the modulation of views and light together with aluminium louvre style shutters throughout, some movable on sliding tracks to provide further privacy and sun protection. The verandah and internal ceilings are beautifully finished in cedar proving an indoor-outdoor seamless connection. The cedar finish flows onto the cladding of the middle and lower level, with a vertical Eurotray top level resulting in a contemporary look and low maintenance.
